On September 29, 2026, Professor Zheng Shiqiang and two colleagues from the School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering, Beihang University, visited Zhejiang Taishuo Technology for technical exchanges. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies of quantum precision measurement, scientific instrument development and the industrialization of research outcomes, laying a foundation for follow-up collaborative industry-university-research cooperation.
Lu Jiong, Person-in-Charge of Taishuo Research Institute, received the visiting team. He gave a detailed introduction to the visiting delegation on the R&D design, performance advantages and engineering applications of the company’s core special products, with a focus on featured products including ultra-long sheathed integrated heating & measuring cables, ultra-fine temperature-measuring thermocouples and ultra-fine heating wires. He also shared the company’s technical reserves and manufacturing capabilities in special thermal management and precision temperature sensing, as well as its practical experience in sectors such as oil & gas, hydrogen energy and high-end equipment.
Professor Zheng Shiqiang is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and the 16th China Youth Science and Technology Award. As a key contributor, he has won two Second-Class Prizes of the National Technological Invention Award. Professor Zheng’s team has published more than 100 SCI papers and holds over 30 authorized invention patents, boasting strong academic influence and research strength in ultra-weak magnetic measurement and maglev technology. He also serves as a member of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Quantum Computing and Measurement.
At the exchange meeting, Professor Zheng presented the research roadmap of his team supported by research platforms including the Institute of Ultra-Weak Magnetic Measurement Large Scientific Facility and the Key Laboratory of Ultra-Weak Magnetic Measurement Technology of the Ministry of Education. Centered on ultra-weak magnetic measurement and maglev technology, the team carries out in-depth research on frontier directions such as zero-magnetic medical equipment and ultra-weak magnetic imaging, precision magnetoelectric equipment and maglev technology, as well as zero-magnetism medicine and clinical translation. Teacher Liu Ximing from the Beihang team highlighted the research progress and technological breakthroughs of atomic magnetometers.
The two sides fully exchanged views on overlapping areas including precision sensing, special material support and instrument engineering implementation, and reached a consensus. They agreed to maintain regular communication, promote industry-university-research collaboration, and explore diverse cooperation models such as joint technical research, supporting component development and commercialization of research results.
This exchange marks an important step of Taishuo Technology in its industry-university-research layout within the high-end precision sensing track. Going forward, Taishuo will continue to engage with research teams from domestic universities. Leveraging its industrial manufacturing advantages in special cables, precision temperature sensors and heating elements, the company will work with research institutes to bridge the gap between cutting-edge laboratory technologies and engineering applications, and contribute to the localization of quantum precision measurement and high-end scientific instruments.
